USB stick is suddenly R/O. Can it be fixed?

Well, I got this USB stick which has no Write-Switch.
While checking the drive it suddenly 'became' R/O. I did check the stick at several PCs, sadly it remains read-only.
Is there a way to fix this?

@GUNHED
There is a small switch on the SD card Put it in the other position
Switch down towards contacts.
That may help

Thanks, but it's a bit more nasty. It has no switch. I did a "check drive" and suddenly it switched to "read-only". Guess it is broken

No, just a laptop. But I tried the stick on another PC too. Same problem there. Never mind. I guess its time is just over.
