Title: Book suggestions
Post by: Vyper68 on 11:36, 01 February 18
Can someone give me some pointers as to some good books to look for and get to start to get a grip on programming on the CPC. I'm more into Z80 Assessmbler and the CPC Chipset rather than BASIC. So Chipset, Memory Map and pointers for a decent assembler

There's a few of them on CPC-Power in the Archives

* Programming the Z80 (http://www.cpc-power.com/cpcarchives/index.php?page=articles&num=235)
* The Z80 Microprocessor (http://www.cpc-power.com/cpcarchives/index.php?page=articles&num=122)
* Z80 Assembly Language Programming (http://www.cpc-power.com/cpcarchives/index.php?page=articles&num=114)
* Z80 Assembly Language Subroutines (http://www.cpc-power.com/cpcarchives/index.php?page=articles&num=74)

Or CPC BASIC 3 (http://cpcbasic.webcindario.com/CPCBasicEn.html) is a good way of converting High Level BASIC into Assembly.
