Can someone give me some pointers as to some good books to look for and get to start to get a grip on programming on the CPC. I'm more into Z80 Assessmbler and the CPC Chipset rather than BASIC. So Chipset, Memory Map and pointers for a decent assembler

Thank you for Mercenary Paul

AMSDOS

There's a few of them on CPC-Power in the Archives

* Programming the Z80
* The Z80 Microprocessor
* Z80 Assembly Language Programming
* Z80 Assembly Language Subroutines

Or CPC BASIC 3 is a good way of converting High Level BASIC into Assembly.
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D
