I coded a Java-GUI for the tool "SAMdisk".

Please regard:
This tool works ONLY on Windows PC's!
Don't move or delete the folder "tools" and/or its content!
I had no hardware here to test it with several drives / FDC controllers.
But it works nice with my 3" drive connected to my PC and also to a 3,5" drive on my system.
(Please report problems or also if it works fine for you)

Unzip,
launch "SamDisk.jar" (Should work by double click, when you have Java installed)
I successfully transferred "Prehistorik 2 - Original DSK" to 3" and am able to play it now!
(Other tools failed here)

The tool also successfully transferred 'Orion Prime' to 3" disk!
It had a list of warning messages but the written disks work well...

I only checked the A sides, original DSK, no spanish retail!
All games worked on my 6128 with 3" floppy!
I cannot tell you if they work on 3,5", too.
But I think you need it as A: drive then!
(Especially for |CPM started games!)

all the speedlocks can be written back easily :D i did it on 3.5" disk

Please notice:
First try to transfer your DSK with default settings...
Only change the parameters if the result fails on your CPC ;)
When nobody supports a bug or finds some more important things, this will be the final release.
For me the app works really good. All DSK I tried yet work nice on my 6128...
Are you talking about the HxC SDCard emulator ? If yes, which version do you have, and what are the bugs ?

No, I'm talking about DSK files with several copy protections, which I transferred to 3" disks.
I always have a 3" drive connected to my PC :D (Instead of 3,5")
