CPC to PC

Might be a very short answer to this question. Is there any software which will allow a Windows 8 laptop (with an external 3.5" drive) to read Romdos D20 discs?

No joy with the 3.5" drive on the laptop - seems to only recognise HD disks. However I now have an M4 and plan on using that to transfer files.
