Nobody is talking about textoutput routines. There are specail routines, only used by CBM, And NO, I will not provide the source code of FutureOS to you to proove this. So why can't you understand that CBM is an ESSENTIAL part of the OS? What do you expect from a part of the OS? Must it be in ROM? In this case the disc version of SOS wouldn't be an OS at all. It uses of course OS routines, it's an UI-extension for the OS, but it is not part of the OS.
