Reviewed in the first issue of Amstrad Computer User, it was more of a press blurb explaining what the game was rather than any form of critique (to be expected when you condider that ACU was owned by Amsoft at the time...

By the time the game was reviewed by the magazine again at the beginning of 1985 they were at least willing to play the game a little and the reviewer admitted that "After a while, the game becomes a little tedious, especially when I goud I was playing three holes in a row that were rather similar!"

Amstrad Action found the game "Challenging so that you need to practice like the real thing" but were unhappy that getting stuck among the trees on a single hole could ruin an entire round.

Showing an uncharacterstic sense of mercy, Amtix acknowledged that "Golfing games aren't the most awe inspiring programs on any computer but this one is quite enjoyable although it suffers from too much simplicity in setting up strokes to have great playing appeal."
