6128+ Hardware Question

The two prongs are only so that the metal shield is earthed, so that it works as an EMI shield. It shouldn't have any effect on which keys work. It's not part of their circuit.

Hey there, I took the case off and removed the main key board off the membrane. From there I used a make-up brush to lightly dust off anything that might be there. The main keys all seem to work accept the "delete" key. I was happy enough with this. Gave the 6128+ a few hours of testing with Pirates! All seems well thanks to some great advice.

@Bryce - thanks for explanation, thought about this after posting and even with my very limited electronic knowledge I then realised what they were! What the problem can be is the keyboard connectors next to the prongs as these also easily become loose on the Plus :)
