Powered my 6128 on earlier and a few minutes later later it went off.... I put my multimeter onto the 5v power connector on the monitor and it wasn't reading anything so somethings wrong with the monitor :( , it's not as simple as a fuse in the plug either as you can hear something going on in the monitor when you power it up.
Anyway I just swapped it over with one I had in the cupboard for now... maybe get it fixed one day.....

Talking Baywatch ;) I just stumbled upon a replacement one there: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200578321570
OTOH there's a former MP2 (with a Euro plug on this German side of things, but then again a "shaver adapter" is just 99p in the CPCs home[is]land) now working as a power supply only sitting in my cupboard, if anyone needs that.

I swapped it for another colour one ;) , I've got one more colour one too but it's for my 464 so doesn't have the 12v output for the disk drive.... so now i've got 1 faulty colour monitor, 1 colour monitor without the 12v output and 1 green screen.

Quote from: sigh on 22:04, 20 February 11It's crazy how hard it is to find a 6128 + machine in the UK. I've seen a 464+ last month on ebay, but 6128 +UK seems to be a bit of a rare holy grail these days.
Now I see, every British family builds shrines around them. ;) I guess it's called the Sugar Cult. :D But seriously, there was an article in a German Amiga mag once referring to the VIC-20 (just VC-20 here for obvious reasons, a name change dictated by phonetically similar four-letter words and a welcome allusion to the likes of Volkswagen) as "Mein Hausaltar" - if anyone recalls or, better yet, finds this, though it's a "rival" brand, by all means please upload.
