If I remember well, the shipping cost is too expensive.

Shipping is not cheap at $23.95 (to the UK anyway). However, it's the same if you order 1 or 100. Perhaps a group buy?

Because it's in USA, you will have to add the VAT (including shipping) and the custom fees too.
Then, you will have to dispatch for each peoples and add envelop and shipping price again.
At end, each peoples will have to build its own cable. (but don't because the ribbon cable is missing )

The idea is good, but not easy to achieve.
Better to buy the needed expansion with its cable.
