CPC 6128 With 2 keys not working

Hi folks,


I was testing one of my 6128s today, and found some keys not working.


It's not a line or group but rather just *two* keys that are together, K and L.


What would be the best place to start looking at why they may not work?

If you haven't done it already, I would start by opening up the keyboard, taking out the membrane, and giving it a gentle cleaning. Most likely you have some big dust bunnies blocking the contact of the keys.

Spot on... There were so many bunnies in there, it's a wonder how any keys worked at all...


Simple clean and sure enough, those two keys now work too.
