DD1 : little part broken !

i just changed my Belt and i just saw this little part is broken :





Important or not ??

I actually cannot see it very well... it is a bit out of focus and surrounded by the red thick line. Would it be possible to take another picture?

the broken part is the blue one with the little screw on it..

That piece prevent the head to step to negative track number if the drive is trying (ie get step pulse doward even with track 0 beeing detected).
This should never occur unless the track0 line is not working as expected : detection, cable or controller malfunction.

The drive should work without, but I am wondering how it break.

That doesn't look like the original screw used on these motors, the original was smaller with a rounded head. I would guess that someone was trying to get the drive working and thought that adjusting this part might do something.... Then lost or broke the original screw.
