Some years ago I modeled an enclosure for an external floppy drive. It had some room for improvement, so I went and designed a new one. this will house either a 3,5" floppy drive mechanism or a Gotek. I'll be printing it tomorrow to see how it'll work in practice.

does it have the same dimensions (height and length) like a 6128? That would be awesome.

The only dimensions I took into account were the ones of the 3,5” drive, so I doubt it’ll match the 6128 dimensions.

I printed the top half and it turned out pretty good. Even the logo is readable.

The .stl files can now be found from Thingiverse, if someone wants to print their own.
