Is the Genius GM-7 BUS mouse any good?

Well i didn't decide of how it will look like :
- Same as the original (Pcb and components)
- Minimum size,  it plugs in the joystick port and has a cable for the power
- Mx4 Format (plugs on the expansion port, or motherX4 ) for powering it, and with a cable to plug into the joystick port...

So much possibilities ...
If you have some ideas, you're welcome

Wasting an MX4 port only for power supply is imho a bad idea. 4 Slots are few enough, I would need 7 already!


Now, the minimal solution sound great to me, I would take one.

I would also like it for the joystick port! Seems the easiest way to plug it because, as TFM said, the MX4 only has 4 slots .

I'd vote for minimal size and powered from the 5v monitor supply or the plus analogue port.

I also have mine here, waiting for the board  . Problem is that I did not test it, it would be better to try with one you know that works for sure

I think that some unicorns were killed in the process of making them as well. The box is made with their horns. Luckily, I can borrow you mine. Problem is that I still do not know if it works fine or not!

Ok, it should look like this... all SMD to be the smallest.. 4x5 cm

If you want through-hole components, no problem, but it will be longer...

I do not see the problem with the SMD unless I have to solder everything by myself!

Very nice. Put the sub-d connectors on the edge of the PCB and it will be almost non-existant
