Title: Monitor
Post by: EgoTrip on 17:50, 29 May 15
So my GT-64 is dying, its getting worse.

I have an old CRT PC monitor. Is it possible to use my CPC with it? If so, what else will I need?

What are my other options? As cheap as possible.

CRT PC Monitor doesn't tell us much. What make /model is it?

You'll need an RGB to VGA converter to connect a CPC to this.

Never mind it was the wrong way round.

Can you link me to something suitable please, so I know what to get and don't get the wrong adapter.

ok. Taking that picture as an example. The 5 pins at the bottom are rgb ground and sync. They are well labelled, so you use the wiring loom that comes with the board and a normal din plug to connect each of those to the correct pin on the monitor out of the CPC. Then plug you PC monitor into the VGA socket at the top of the picture. From there it is fully plug and play.
