I don't collect retro hardware but I seem to pick up weird joysticks. I have a JY-2, a Quickshot 2, some Cheetahs and the Mindscape Power Player.

I just pick up a QuickShot Flight Stick, which is Amstrad compatible. It's very low quality, but it has two fire buttons, correctly mapped to FIRE1 and FIRE2, so I can now play Scramble properly! Even better, you need is thumb and one is trigger so you press both at the same time.

My mistake, it is a Flight Grip, not a Stick.

Also interesting that if I set it to Sega mode, the second fire button produces a 'b' on screen. Is this normal?

Yes, because in this case it's part of "Joystick 2"
