Title: new 464's for repair

ohh best warm the old £8 soldering iron up.. ohh i hate din connectors they must have been designed by the devil.. at least they are only 6 pin not like the species 8 pin jobs .. i think the post man is starting  to dislike me ..  :P :P :P :P

Other than not understanding the connection between these 464's and the DIN connector comment, what's the problem with DIN connectors?

no problem... i have to make 4 cables and they are just a pain to do ...

yeh ,, and a couple of numbers and a space bar is fubar... two of the cases are a bit knocked about as well .... started testing the first one and it fires up no problems with a small mod to the RGB output   :o  tape deck required a new o ring / tyre  .. seems a common problem

You make a seperate cable for each CPC? Why not just one that you use on all of them? Or do you intend them all to be running at the same time?

ha ha ..no i cant multi task ..  at least two of them will have new owners as soon as they are good...
