Hi AllI search a solution for my CPC+.
I want a power supply for him, but I don't found a matched PSU, ( amp & volts) on E..y. 5v 3 amps is good.Did anyone had a good spot to buy that?Thank in advance for responses. :)
Hi @JayBlood (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2597) ,
On advice from members I bought this to power my Plus:
https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/desktop-power-supply/6675492/ (https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/desktop-power-supply/6675492/)
You will also need one of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004HTFCYY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004HTFCYY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
It works fine - no problems at all.
You might get them cheaper on Ebay but you would have to look into that yourself.
Cheers,
Peter
Hi! Many Thanxx to you, Comsoft. I ordered the same with Amzon.fr, your first link don't allow delivery outside the UK. ;) It's much better than my own PSU, an cheap adaptable one. (& too poor with amps.) The C4CPC need more power. :)
Regards.

The additional consumption of the C4CPC on a Plus is ridiculous compared to the Plus itself : about 80mA more for a 2.4A rated computer (and it consume less than 700mA if you don't use the drive).
The issue is only with the GX4000 because Amstrad was cheap on the PSU.
Yep, Gerald.
I do fix my GX4000 due to bad ram chips. But I got a powered PSU to used with your fantastic cart; like you say here to the dedicated topic. :)
For safe, I think is better to got a better PSU for CPC+ too. ;)
Done! Thank for the links. :)

PS: The screen let appear a ghost, due to the scart to hdmi converter. But it work fine. :)
That's some serious ghosting. Is it a really cheap HDMI converter or have you used a 15 meter long cable?
Bryce.
Yes, a cheap converter, and the hdmi to vga adapter not help to have a good screen.
However, I Don't test him on a modern direct hdmi screen.
No problem in my old CRT. :)
