Hi all,
Been lurking on these boards for many years now and finally decided to revisit my childhood and purchase a 464+. (I have a classic 464 back home)
I have purchased this SCART cable after going through some old forum threads.

It works great on 2 of my 3 LCD TVs but unfortunately I would like to get it running correctly on the one with the fault.
I have attached a picture of the ghosting effect around the letters.
Any idea what I could do to clear the image up?
Thanks in advance!
you could consider this a 3D effect...
Some TV's can give ghosting effect if pin 19 is intact (while other TV's won't be affected by it).
You could try dissembling the cable (you can just twist the SCART end to expose the wires) and carefully locate and break pin 19, it shouldn't really affect the video in any way as the DIN connects to the SCART using pins 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 15, 16, 18 and 20.
Hi Shaun,
Just checked and Pin 19 is already disconnected. Its an odd one!
Thanks
Mark
Is there more than one SCART socket on the TV that you can test it with?
Also does your TV have settings for SCART like RGB? S-Video, CVBS? Have a look around and play with those.
It looks like you're getting reflection in the cable, how long is the SCART cable and have the RGB signals been properly terminated?
Bryce.
