I noticed this RGB2HDMI card for Amiga's on ebay...

I think it is quite a good idea - anyone want to see if they can make a Mx4 board version?  I believe likely you will only be able to take power from the CPC's Mx4 board.  And perhaps have 2 x 3.5mm stereo plugs on the side as an option to go from CPC into that card - if you incorporate an audio mixer of 2 external sources, that will be even more fantastic as... it would cater for such like PlayCity... note: RGB2HDMI does NOT allow audio over the HDMI, however... if we are taking the video from the CPC, why not the audio also and make it at least do some mixing.

RGB2HDMI needs access to the RGB signals which are available on the Amiga video slot but not on the CPC expansion bus.

yes, you need to make a cable that goes from CPC into that card which is why the Mx4 formfactor really just takes power from the CPC in a tidy way.
