Amstrad GX4000 and burning rubber locomotive basic Cartridge help

Hi all
I have recently got a gx4000 console which came wth no game I have brought a cartridge off eBay and the seller said it was suitable for the console.
It arrived today and it was burnin rubber and locomotive basic I put it in the gx4000 and it boots up into basic and nothing else.
According to the internet as far as I can tell it will only play the game on a 464+ and 6128+ computer but the seller says it will work on a gx4000 can anyone tell me if it can.

I'm quite sure it's impossible. But keep your cartridge, it's a bit hard to obtain for Plus users. You will probably be able to exchange it.

Yes it won't work in a GX4000 and is probably worth fractionally more than a burnin' rubber cart which are common.
