:) Hi guys, much time is passed by my last post, my real life take me too much time at my AMSTRAD PASSION  ;D .
Some of days ago, i have played to IKARI WARRIORS on my real cpc 464, but i have always hated that poor presentation screen, i have searched and i have got CONVIMGCPC 0.16, for made a new screen for this game.
1) I have take it the screen by ATARI ST version 320x200 pixel
2) start the program convimgcpc
3) load the image 320x200 by atari st
4) select "smoothing"
5) select "choose view size"       new X axis size "320"   new Y axis size "200"
6) select "keep aspect lower scale"
7) select "process" or "auto process", i have tried also to select "apply colors"
8) save the new image.SCR
------------------------------------------------
WINAPE
1) open winape, go on "EDIT DISC"
2) select the original SCREEN file of game and replace the new file .SCR (put the same name)
3) start the emu, but when load the screen, the colors are all wrongs, and the game don't load anymore.

Please can someone help me or made a good tutorial?

I put my file here, thank you.  ;)

1) IKARI WARRIORS has some important data inside unseen screen ram of it's title pic. Copy it to the new screen, or the game will crash.
2) to restore the palette from ConvImgCPC: LOAD"SCREEN.SCR",&C000:CALL &C7D0 (Then you have to press SPACE, JavaCPC Paint offers the same CALL but you can disable the SPACE key and continue)

Excuse me, but how i add " LOAD"SCREEN.SCR",&C000:CALL &C7D0" ?

An example please.

I have tried javacpcpaint, but when start the program, appear a window,  "NORMAL" or "OVERSCAN"?
If i choose "NORMAL" the program don't start, if choose "OVERSCAN" the program start perfectly =|

You can add this (replace) in Ikari Warriors loader.
Check in the loader, where the original screen is loaded and use this code here.

I wonder that JavaCPC Paint doesnt work for you. You should check for updates then. Which version do you use?

:) DEVILMARKUS, i have add the line wich you have write me and now the colors are OK, but the game CRASH, and reset, what i do now?

As I said: the original screen contains few data in unseen screen ram, which ConvImgCPC doesnt handle.
You need to copy it manually to the new screen.
Will check later, if I can add it to your screen.

Let JavaCPC check for updates: menu: Help -> Check for updates

Really I have no idea, why the normal paint doesnt start for you...

Attached is an uncompressed .cdt file (as would've been released in 1986). I can do single file or compressed if you want.

EDIT: Ok, the second .cdt is compressed and single-filed (16 blocks).
