Hello guys,

The retro cafe near here is going to host a darts tournament. They asked me if there's a program to keep track of the score so they could display it on a projector, for the Amstrad (but, I guess, other retro machines would do too, they have a nice variety there). Anyone knows of something of the sort? A short effort to locate something didn't reveal anything...

Thanks!

You could write one in BASIC in about 10 minutes!

Why aren't they playing Darts 180, Bullseye, Jocky Wilson or Wacky darts on the CPC??

Well I have little idea about darts and I guess if there's anything out there it'd be miles ahead of any effort I could make.

And yes, my initial reaction was the same :)

:D  have lost whole days playing 180, far better at that version than the real thing tbh.

Amstrad Action published a darts scoreboard program by Roger Martin in issue 35. I've attached a DSK file which contains both the original program (DARTS.BAS), and a version that has been modified to work in BASIC 1.0 (DARTS464.BAS).

Oh man! This is ugly but it'll make some grown-up men pretty happy, I'm telling you :) If I manage to be there I'll take some photos to post.

Thanks so much!
