In case anyone else wants to do this!

The attached CP/M+ disk has a file bcpm if you run it, it boots from B: drive
Works on 6128 or upgraded 464, Parados or Amsdos

The hack is it does the rsx's job to put the first loader in ram then patches it and calls it so the ems file is still loaded from disk

The only downside is it doesn't pick up the profile.sub so have to cancel out of that and switch to B: at the command prompt. It's a "feature"

Well done! Now to use profile.sub you got to patch the EMS files. Also: Why do you still use DATE.COM without year_2k patch? Nice job you did  :) :) :) but...

Why don't you use the great X-DDOS?

You can use the command !CPM,0 or ,1 for drive A (with A=A or A=B) or !CPM,2 to boot from a B-Drives - Vortex format with 704 KB space and all .COM programs you'll desire!  :) :) :)

Hmm i did not know about that, guess i could have saved a few hours work there! (but it felt amazing to see CP/M+ loading especially on a 464)

This is just a stepping stone to getting HD CP/M working so it's ok as a temorary hack to do some stuff that's the plan :)

Without wishing to create a new topic, does anyone have a dsk with zpm3 on it ?

I would love to see ParaDOS/VaraDOS to support this, too
