The ASCII files were copied over from the PCW but I think the original source was an American college or university.

Are these files not part of the Gutenburg (sp?) project.   If so, they are readily available for free download.

Sorry Geoff, I should have pointed out in this post (as I have on YouTube) that these were available about 1995.

Not knowing about Project Gutenberg at the time it is possible that was the original source of these files - all I remember from my
contact with the "Perfect Electronic Publishing" company was that I needed a license from them to distribute the texts.

Cheers,

Peter

I've wanted to upgrade my Voyage for quite some time now since I've been jealous of the wife's Oasis 2. Now's my chance! Also, it will make the bed warmer during the winter.

Isn't it's the wife's "Oasis" ;) that's meant to keep the bed warm? :)

But back on subject (almost). I was given a broken Kindle FreeTime (Kids Kindle Fire) lately that I intend hacking back to running some flavour of Android. Is there any CPC Emulators I can install on it? Would be cool to install some retro gaming for me my son to play with.

"Oasis" means it's dry all around; but with my trusty CPC (or NC200, if tired) in hand, the ladies can't have enough of me.
