Title: Easi-Amsword printer control codes?
Post by: satchman2000 on 22:55, 18 October 20
Hi all.

Recently got a DMP 2000 printer up and running, and fulfilled a childhood dream of printing from Easi Amsword (I know, sad innit!)

Anyway, Easi Amsword mentions setting control codes in the print menu, where you can define the ASCII codes such as "E" for bold.

However, there's nothing in the manual about how to actually use the defined codes, or what defining them actually does!

Does anyone know if it's even possible to use control codes within Easi Amsword to get bold, underline etc?

It's driving me nuts! I know you can do it in Amsword/Tasword and ProText etc, but would like to know how/if I can do it in Easi Amsword.

Thanks!

Sad? Then that makes two of us :D The hours I spent writing random texts in it just for fun, but no way I could afford a printer back then!

In case anyone is remotely interested, I eventually figured this out!

I did a video: https://youtu.be/EziKeCoumRE (https://youtu.be/EziKeCoumRE)

For info- the instruction pamphlet pretty much managed to get all the information wrong in regards to setting printer codes  :picard:
