LiliCPC is back! We have a new version 2.2 of the software for CPC and CPC+ with ULIfAC and M4 devices, which allows you to run the complete catalogue of games and applications for our Amstrad models in a comfortable and fast way.

LiliCPC is a 'warehouse' of thousands of loaders to run the games and applications, organized in intuitive navigation menus.

You can have your CPC connected to the TV in your living room and navigate with the joystick from your sofa!.

It also allows you to run the entire catalogue of games in cartridge format on your CPC+, as if you had a C4CPC but more visually beautiful.

Only available on the official LiliCPC Telegram channel.

In this repository on Mega, the friends of the Amstrad Power team have uploaded version 2.1 of LiliCPC. Version 2.2 is currently only available on the official LiliCPC channel on Telegram.

This 100%. what's the point of it, if only a few folks in some random app's community are going to see it until someone decides to archive it?

And screenshots! is there a nice menu? is it easy to use?

what's the download size?

Hello,
I saw the archive and noticed two exe files, but is it only for windows?
Also is the language only in Spanish?

CPC 464+ with C4CPC and Gotek HxC USB Drive -
CPC 6128+ with Nova, FlashGordon,AmsDap, SymbiFace III -
CPC 6128 with M4 ... and other Amstrad computers

You must unzip the contents of the two files to the root of the USB or microsd. It is for use with a real CPC, accompanied by an M4, ULIfAC or USIfAC II device.

With M4 the execution is automatic when turning on the CPC. With M4 you have to do a RUN"LILI

It is a simple browser with menus to choose the game or application (+10,000). It is in Spanish, but it is very easy to navigate if you speak another language. I am attaching two files with installation and execution instructions & 2 snapscreen. If you have any questions, the telegram group is open to anyone interested in having LiliCPC on their CPC. LiliCPC is free and open source software.

I will answer any questions that may arise on the CPCWiki for users interested in trying this application.

I've given it a quick go with my 464+usifac2+512k.

2gb storage minimum to fit the entire thing on.
presentation is okay, the software is understandable enough being in spanish but the categories are hard to understand.

Why the passworded SFX files though? this isn't the age of hush hush dodgy warez.

It was easy enough to set up and get going though. Still don't like that telegram is the only place to get the latest version though.

Yeah, I really don't understand all the hurdles put in place...

@shacpc I just gave this a try myself, and it's really nicely put together. Well done, and thank you for sharing! :)

I agree with the others, though, that the self-extracting EXE is a little odd. I don't use Windows, I use FreeBSD and, although I was able to run the self extractor in Wine, a standard ZIP would have been appreciated (or a RAR - I know they are very Spanish! :D ). Was this done to make it easy for non-technical people to set up the project?

Can I ask why there is a password on the archive if the project is free?

Indeed, we started by doing a type of installation suitable for the Telegram group members who collaborated in the testing. This was continued later, but it will probably be changed to a normal .zip.

The password was originally set as a method of 'closing' a circle of interest for its development, because as you say LiliCPC (from March The CPC Ark) is free and you yourself have been able to put it in your CPC without much difficulty.  ;)

Personally I would never execute an EXE from a telegram group or a forum.
