Title: ROMDOS v PARADOS
Post by: zeropolis79 on 21:04, 04 May 16
I recently managed to obtain a ROMBO ROM Box and among the ROMs inside (besides Protext) was ROMDOS.. (the lot from eBay also included a 3.5" drive)

I've read many things about the program and how ParaDOS is considered more superior.

Is it worth keepign ROMDOS or should I try and get hold of ParaDOS? Can it go into ROM slot 7 on the ROMBO?

ParaDOS supports more formats. If you only use one format, then wasting time for burning an EPROM may not be needed. But having ParaDOS will enable you to read pretty much all CPC formats.
