What you'll see here are four mode 1 screens digititized/converted from Jpeg files using the the Rombo VIDI peripheral.
All four of the screens are briefly displayed and two of them are then modified and merged into a new file using the Advanced OCP Art Studio.
The accompanying music (Running on a 2nd 6128) is an excellent Soundtrakker file by BSC.

Mode 1 on the CPC is a thing of beauty when implemented correctly.
Always wanted a mouse and OCP when I used to see the ads for it in AA as a teenager. Just as well I didn't invest in it. I have no hand co-ordination when it comes to drawing.
Always wanted to do something creative like drawing as a kid, and was crushed when I just couldn't do it. Thank Christ for cameras is all I'll say. :D
Not impressed by the CPC mice I tried back then and stuck to the keyboard.
