I'm not associated with the seller, but it is a good hardware to pickup.

It's a KC85, same manufacturer as the KC Compact, but a different computer.

Two rather rare text adventures sold on eBay a few days ago for utterly ridiculous prices:

Philosopher's Quest (Topologika) - £436.78

Ingrid's Back (Level 9) - £316.00

I know original copies of Topologika games on the CPC are as rare as hen's teeth, but WOW! :-o

Anyone need a new monitor for their CPC, this looks ideal.  I was thinking about getting 2, one for each of my CPCs.

One can only assume that the seller thinks this is the market price, after all it's the "King of Kings"  The king is dead long live the king.

This 6128+ incl. monitor sold today for 500€ - not even with original drive but with a GOTEK. Not fixed price but auction. And at a time of the day which is usually not known for the best price.

https://www.ebay.de/itm/165374948852

Is this the new price level for a PLUS incl. monitor?

Nworc

If someone ever wanted to buy "Knight Games" by English Software, and didn't want to spend 200€/ £ to someone called international-somethingretro (or similar), now is the chance .. three items on sale for less than 30€.

An excellent game by the way, which has it's place in my collection.

Animalgril987

@Nworc Do you have the link?

Nworc

You mean the 199€/ £ thing, it was online as buy it now for a over a year or so, but guess what: it's suddenly gone.
The online ones: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=amstrad+knight+games+-tyme+-mastertronic+-future+-ikari

Similarly, on eBay-UK you can buy Dun Darach for 10, or for 600 quid. I just wonder what's the difference, except for the price.

BTW: I've learned about "quid" while playing Minder, which was one of the games that I used to learn English. Minder had some fun vocabulary, I still wonder what Nucleonic Ferkinators are.
