The original post about this was about the Cartridge, so I assume that it was assumed that the Cart is part of the auction. Maybe I got that wrong, but maybe you're too stubborn too.  ;D
To my understanding, the original post was:
Forget the connector what cartridge is these?

Which I read as : what is that cartridge that is not listed anywhere in the wiki, who edited it, etc  ...

Exactly. I know spanish and english not Germán. So directly i not understand the text of the announce But i can view the picture of an unkown cartridge :). ( At least for me).

I think the fame of the seller do the rest.

How can you tell it's a cost down? Is there anything in the outer design that reveals it?

3 hints :
- serial number
- case (with spanish/english marking on the ports)
- but mainly the ground wire that runs from both side of the expansion port (does not exist on others), and you can't see the z80 just behind that extension port. (on this picture http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Qd4AAOSwx2dYDyFG/s-l1600.jpg)

Aha, thanks :)

Bryce

I don't think the price is all that bad considering everything that's included.

You never know if the motherboard match the case and serial number.
The 3rd point is the only one that is important.

I think i read only one type of motherboard fits in the cost down case.

Anyway if  not is  for motherboard collection reasons.I not recommend buy a cost-down. I have one because is the computer i recieved when i buy it years ago very cheap (30e) :D .

But i maybe search another. If Pre-asic die, means cpc can't be repaired. And all other motherboard not have these problem if the gate array die.

Exist a guide to identify others cpcs apart of cost-down?

Wrong.

I bought a CRTC1 motherboard from Guy0me and changed my cost down mobo (cause i had incompatibilities with XMEM) with this one without any problem. Everything fitted perfectly...
