I wonder if its because I just clicked the "Collection in person only" tick box when making the listing, that's the only thing I can think of really, I touched nothing else!

But again, I never thought someone would want to trail from the continent up to the wilds of County Durham to pick it up anyway, I'd be surprised if someone came up, from, say Manchester for it! :D

Again, if someone is mad enough too, fair do's and get in touch (If it hasnt gone by then of course) :)

I've put a few things up on Ebay.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254109724885 PCW LocoScript, etc disks

and

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254116807695 10 different Amstrad CPC games on 3" disks (Lemmings, SimCity, Titus the Fox, Time Scanner, Blues Brothers, PacMania and the Grandstand collection of Continental Circus, Pro Tennis Tour, Gazzas Super Soccer, World Class Leader board).

I can't test any of them as my CPC6128 died many years ago. An interesting (to me at least!) part of the history of these games is that the Grandstand Collection was given to me by Amstrad Action in compensation for losing a disk I sent in to them with a (truly awful) candidate for a type-in on. Somewhere I believe I've still got the hand-written note from Rod Lawton that accompanied the game.

I'm watching the games, but it's unlikely they'll end in my price range. You should find the note, i'm sure the buyer would enjoy it!

The problem is always the Global Shipping system between UK and...  Europe.  :-\

For information about new CPC hardware sold on eBay since months:

1- I'm bored to see peoples buying my expansions to sold them twice.

2- I'm really bored to see:
- fake MotherX4 (only 3 slots, no reset, no passthrough) for 60€ ! (48 + 12 shipping)
- a 512K RAM board (not 464 compatible, no ROM, no C3 mode) for 53€ (47 + 12 shipping)
- a simple ribbon cable for 29€ (17 + 12 shipping) :-X
- a poor 3" to 3"1/2 adapter for 38€ (26 + 12 shipping) :o

Some friends have noticed that and asked me if I can put my expansions on eBay to avoid this scam for newcomer on CPC. So, I will do that soon.
They asked me how should cost this "gotek" adapter and if I can offer it. The answer is under 5€ and yes I will buid many of them.

That would be really great for people looking for such solutions outside trusted communities. If the wiki can spread the word somehow, do let us know!

Gosh, that's the one I put the gerbers up for. I still have 8 or so left for 6 euro a pcs (or 5 if you solder it yourself), if anyone needs one until TotO starts making them :)

Always the same... Good guys give schematics for free and bad dude make money on the community back.
@breiztiger and @rambler would like to get one as I know. If you want to produce them again, I let you do it. (as you want)

Thanks, I'd rather not, so if you make one, I am happy with that :)

TotO

OK. I will plane to sold them 6€ here after you will be "soldout" and 9€ on ebay to cover the fees.

Shining

I asked the gerbers for that to fit my goteks. I've also some left because the pcb was that cheap I ordered some more. If anyone is interested, I think Totos 6€ are fair. But I don't want to sell them at ebay.

But please first order @Duke and again thanks for sharing the PCB.

I also wanted this gotek cable adapter, in order to install the gotek internally and use the existing cpc cable without "modifying" it. In my search for it on ebay, the prices where abnormal. As TotO points out. With help from here, I ended up building it myself. Not the one like Dukes's, but the simple one with the ribbon. Job is done in 5 minutes and the cost was under 4 euros.

Still have a few left, but missing female connectors at the moment, so fine with me if you start selling them now.
I don't mind if sometime someone wants one with an M4 board or a USB board, he can save a little bit in postage. But otherwise please ask TotO for them ;)

Thanks, but no thanks! :)
Please you keep that for your tireless support of the CPC community.

OK... I have removed the sentence. ;)

Sorry for you... As you can see, there is no electronic at all that can justiffy that price (and shipping fees). It's a scam.
