Huh. But how do you use them?

You're asked to switch the disc, and it loads the images automatically. Otherwise you only see text.

I have now listed on Ebay the "Amstrad 464 664 6128 Users Omnibus" for sale.  See the following

I am happy to post overseas - please ask me for a postage quote.

Really like that book. Is it only me? :)

steve

Not just you, I have two copies, the first I bought new, it had a whole chunk of repeated pages in it, so a few years ago I bought another copy off ebay to see if it was the same.

I have listed a copy of the AMSTRAD 6128 User Instructions (the manual that came with the machine) on Ebay at

THE Amstrad 6128 User Instructions | eBay

and the Enid Blyton Famous Five game for the AMSTRAD 6128 at

Blyton Famous Five Adventure Game FOR Amstrad 6128 | eBay

I am happy to post overseas. Please ask me for a postage quote so I know where you live. For example to post to France, the 130 gram Enid Blyton game pack would be AUD 18 by airmail or AUD 11 by sea mail.

Thanks

Gryzor

Ohhh Enid Blyton... =)

You have set your auction Australia only, is that correct?

John Ferguson

No, it's not correct.  I am happy to post overseas   The "Australia only" is set automatically by Ebay because I have not specified the cost of overseas postage.  If you wish, I'll get a postage quote for you.

Another 6128 Plus for sale
Amstrad 6128 + (plus) boxed (RARE) + Amstrad GX4000 boxed with games | eBay

Hm, I'd like to bid on the GX4000 and the games. Don't have much use for the CPC6128+ though.
Anyone interested in that one, in case I bid and win? And what would you be willing to pay for it?
Then maybe we could lure the seller into shipping it as two packages.

Bryce

He's only shipping to the UK, so he may not accept your bid.

Bryce.

I noticed, but I've asked if he's willing to ship to Denmark.  :)
Also asked if he's willing to send in two packages.

ralferoo

I'm actually pretty tempted by this, very keen to get a 6128+ and it's local to me as well! :)

How local? As in you can just drive there to pick up?

I've received a reply from the seller. He's willing to ship to Denmark. He's also willing to split the items into two packages and send to different locations.
Let's talk on IRC.

One for Bryce probably, a very expensive but nice looking Acorn Atom: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-ACORN-ATOM-COMPUTER-VGC/290930725208

CanonMan

That guy has a habit of buying computers using the same eBay account and then relisting them a couple of weeks or so later, at two or three times the price he paid for them. His name is mud over on the Acorn forum....

Gryzor

500 quid? Fuck...

beaker

And is only posting to the UK. The swine!

Why for me?? I wouldn't pay that kind of price!! I'd like an Atom, but I'm not mad!

Bryce.

Not ebay but someone has put up a 6128+ on adverts.ie if anyone's interested? It's untested and it's just the machine but he is willing to post and takes Paypal.
