Just how they should be.

There's another one on there at the moment with McDonald's stickers all over it. I'm not sure about it though as it comes with no cart so I would have no way of testing it. The seller reckons his daughter was playing a game on it the other day but I can't see how with no cart!

Hmmm, indeed. My 2 6128 plusses as definately more faded, My original one (Bought on launch and loved ever since) is very slightly yellow, and some light fading. the one I got to get a new CM14 after mine failed is yellow like a 40 a day smoker has breather on it 20 years and the badges are faded to almost cream. Oh well I have 2 working CM14's one slightly yellowed and faded badge the other is perfect, an unused MM12 perfect badge and no yellowing a perfect 464plus and the 2 6128 plusses as above. I think I'm a lucky man LOL.

Have you thought about retrobrite. There's a video on YouTube where someone did it to some old computers and they came up really good, almost new looking.

on my spare one (the really yellow example) yes, my own from New is not being touched lol. Other than the copymod, tape interface, abba and reset button internal mods it's 100% original :)

I have read comments to the effect that the yellowing comes back after a few months.

Clear coat it after you've retr0brighted it. Seems to be holding up on my ST after a year.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I know it's stupid but the faded amstrad logo on the keyboard is putting me off buying it.

It looks like he retrobrited it without removing or covering the Logo.

Bryce.

Strange, I know the seller and he was going to retr0bright my Famicom but was worried about the stickers on the machine so I would be surprised if he didn't take the Amstrad logo into consideration. Who knows though, stranger things happen  :)

CraigsBar

Well mine is similarly faded without retrobrite. I guess the paint used just fades. Like red cars :)
