I think I have one in my "Amstrad cupboard from Hell" - I definitely have an RS232 for the CPC there.
I have a vague memory of standing on one 20+ years ago and breaking the top of the case.
I'll have a look today and see what I find.
If I do find it there is no charge - just the postage.

Bad news I'm afraid - the one I found is the RS232 by Amstrad/Pace. :(

No charge, postage only.
I've had a look at it - bottom case missing but the good news is that I don't see any cracks in the PCB.
I've a Plus being sent of for repair at the end of this week so I'll post it at the same time.

I'm away on business, but my Wife says the Pace RS232 arrived - massive thank you!

I'll post updates once I start redrawing the PCB...

That the thing I was thinking. Clone it literally. Because cpc booster it's not the same right?.

Yes, when time allows I plan to recreate the PCB - with small changes... I've still not had the time to work with it yet...
