Dev membergroup created
« on: 20:52, 16 April 13 »
Spurred by MacDeath's request to switch Richard Aplin from the Speccy group, which I found totally correct and embarrassing, I did something a little different.

I couldn't change his membergroup since 'speccy' etc is post-based, however I created a DEV membergroup, for h/w and s/w developers. Anyone can request membership in their profile area :)

Already assigned the group to Richard, btw - and apologies for the insult :D

Haha oh wow... Did I spawned this ? :D

Also you should create a "GODfather" category, if Sir Sugar or Roland Perry or other would come... (let's dream).

Sweet idea anyway.

Our godfathers :

Yeah, the guy behing Roland and Arnold...

Yeah, the picture is bigger because ... well...

Z80 inventor, really it's also all his fault. ;)

Also :

She invented the Crocodiles...

Internet has Trolls, Amstrad has Crocodiles...

Also, who invented the AY 3-8910 ?

What about the original R-Type team ? did they open account here?
I guess mister Bob Pape would like to stay a speccy... ;D

What has a crocodile got to do with the CPC? Was it a french thing? It certainly didn't feature in the UK / Irland CPC scene.

Bryce.

She invented the Crocodiles...

She had only validated the advertising company idea... She not invented it.

Bryce.

The crocodile was used in French CPC adverts.

Amstrad CPC 8bit computers (1987 French advertisement)

There are a few other adverts on youtube as well as this one.

the story and idea came from dented printed documents, as if bitten by crocodiles..
Amstrad passed for a company with big teeth to bite to market...which they did.

Doesn't worry me if you want to make an Off-Topic Mobster group and stick me in it.  :D
