If I go to the main wiki page (not the forum) I get the following error:

Warning: array_merge_recursive(): Argument #1 is not an array in /home/gryzor/cpcwiki_backup/httpdocs/includes/registration/ExtensionProcessor.php on line 294

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to MWExceptionHandler::handleException() must be an instance of Exception, instance of Error given in /home/gryzor/cpcwiki_backup/httpdocs/includes/exception/MWExceptionHandler.php:153 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: MWExceptionHandler::handleException(Object(Error)) #1 {main} thrown in /home/gryzor/cpcwiki_backup/httpdocs/includes/exception/MWExceptionHandler.php on line 153

Thanks for reporting it :)

Last night the server OS was upgraded and with it many components (such as PHP). Surprisingly, that's the only issue I can see up to now! I will not bother fixing it just yet because another round of upgrades is lined up for the server, but thanks again nonetheless; if people find more issues please do let me know!

andycadley

No worries, just thought I'd let you know in case it was something weird that only happened in some cases.  :)

Gryzor

Yes of course, that's why bug reports are always welcome!!

Yes, it's on every page because what it's trying to load is on every page... :)

Since this error appears, it's also completely broken on the Iphone.

Gryzor

Yes, that was another weird one (because absolutely nothing changed to make it appear). Seems like the mobile theme has issues. You can try choosing a different one from a desktop PC or requesting desktop mode from your browser...

I did a quick search. Not really weird. Seems this error is known (at least if PHP7 is used) and it's fixed since Media Wiki 1.26.

Is the server running PHP7 now? Then there might be other issues popping up as the currently used Media Wiki version does not officially support PHP7.

Gryzor

Νο, we're not on the 7.x version. It *is* weird because it appeared out of the blue, without anything having been touched, as I said.

Getting an error too, using Chrome and Win7 64 bit.

Chrome on Android V10 as well.

Oh... the error is gone?!

Gryzor

Ha! The fix worked! 😀

Apparently, and for some reason, only for the desktop version though.

The good news is, if you have Chrome on Android,  tapping the 3 dots and selecting "Desktop site" loads the Wiki normally. :D

Gryzor

Well yes, all mobile browsers have a Desktop option I think? Thankfully🙂

But we must really start thinking long term here instead of fixing things... 😓
