Games pack page

I've just spent about an hour looking for a page on the 464 games pack and did not find one, if there isn't one, could one be written?
I would like to know;

What titles were in the pack?
Their AA ratings?, if they had any.
How long was the pack supplied with the 464?
Did the contents change during it's time?
A photograph would be good as well.

I bought my 464 before they started giving this pack away, so I never got one

I did get a pack of disks with my CPC 6128 and similar information about this pack would complete the page.

Supplementary questions;
Did the CPC 664 have a software pack with it?
Did the plus models include a software pack?

If there is already such a page, could you tell me its title please?

Thanks, I've just looked at the first link and already seen that they did change the contents, one of the comments mentioned that the pack they got included xanagrams instead of hangman.

I will now look at the other two links.

I see on the picture in the third link "software worth over £100", I am sure many would disagree

I got the Games Pack with my first 464 back in the 80's. I sold it last year on ebay still in it's original box. The box claimed that it was worth over 100 pounds, but cassettes weren't that expensive back then and the software itself was worthless The only games I ever really played were Fruit Machine and Harrier attack, the rest were shite.

I think this one had the Amstrad code of PP8.

Did the plus models include a software pack?

I'm not sure, but I think you just got CPM plus disc (no cpm2.2 disc this time), and the basic/firmware cart.

During my searchs I see there is also an Amstrad PP5 disc!

EDIT: this pp8 page is linked from the cpc464/664/6128 page at the moment in the "what was in the box".
But I didn't include info about the tv tuner, cassette radio etc that was shipped later in the 6128's life.

It's a start towards having this info here on the wiki.

it seems the original 464 pack is PP6, but then it may refer to a later cassette based version of the pp8.

Now this brings back memories for me! My parents bought this pack for me through a mail order advert back in 1991. There were 50 games on it and it cost £14.99, but unlike Cascade's infamous compilation, some of the games were actually quite good! I never knew that it was one of Amstrad's official packs, though.

I remember when I was ordering some 3" Discs from O.J. Software towards the mid-90s, some of those were ex-commercial disks which had games on them. "Tubaruba" was one of those games which came up on some Games pack which I had from some issues of "Computing with the Amstrad" that I acquired. The Discs I'd ordered from the UK had some stuff on them, "Doors of Doom" was one of those games and "Nomad" was another which were part of another pack. "Doors of Doom" got a Rave review from AA in Issue 4:

Overall 91%

I pretty much played it until I completed it, which I thought wasn't all that hard, though the game has some different difficulty settings.

"Nomad" is perhaps considered as one of those forgettable games, though given it's a bit bizarre, I'm quite fond of it. AA reviewed it in Issue 8:

Overall 63%

Nomad is one of those sorts of games that Ocean did which makes me wonder if it was written in another language cause the Disc version seems to contain a number of files and uses a number of Screen Overlays, though it could mean nothing.
