Hello guys,
Just wanted your opinion: would you be interested in this?

AMSDOS

Unfortunately it hasn't really worked for me. I think part of the problem on the Forum which already has them is where it's situated. To gather access to the Social Group one has to go through their User Profile to view what's available and then Sign up to that group. After that you tend to forget about them and their there as an after thought. Looks worse for people like myself who make them cause it's a group which is Dead from the beginning!  ???

* Incorporating the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

I think: http://people.cpcwiki.eu is a good social network ;)

Agreed only good things can come from people.cpcwiki. I guess what I'm referring to is more like this:

http://www.vintage-computer.com/vcforum/group.php

In that situation people have setup various groups - since Vintage Computers is the theme, a lot of those groups collect people who have an interest in particular things. It's only setback seems to be how it gets little attention cause the forum itself is keeping people busy!  ;D  Otherwise it's a great idea. I guess it's one of those things people have to ask if it's really needed, or would it add further interest. The thing which fascinates me about the CPC Scene is the diverse community of people who speak different languages!  :)  Sadly I only know English fluently  :(  And even though I have French and German Dictionaries, I'm still no sleuth at them!  :(  I guess the only best means to bridging the language gaps is to apply Language Translators to those websites which helps, though I'm guessing their still needs to be improvement to be able to take that and make it meaningful.

But it's all fascinating how a machine like ours has such an impact over a wide community!  :)
