@Morn: you got a great point there. And an argument for a rotating logo. Only problem, what would a 'business-oriented' or 'serious' logo look like?

Also, unfortunately (as I said) I've lost the source files so I can't alter the existing one... :( Thanks for the comments on the existing one, though, I'm happy that what I was thinking came through, what with my crappy gfx ability and all.

@TotO/Redbox: /like! But these need to be turned into a more proper logo...

A CPC with Mini Office II on the screen?

Bryce.

I had a surge of inspiration today and as I like the Zynaps logo, I decided to reinterpret the CPCWiki Logo, Zynaps style...  ;D

My two cents!

SyX

TotO, i love your your logos, they are so Melon Dezign that i travel back in time while i was watching them  ;D

Bryce

@Robcfg: wait till TFM sees that second Logo, you'll make him homesick!

Ah, no. I'm not going back to Greece now. Got no time ;-)

Do you mean MELON or LEMON. or NEMOL or MENOL? All four Amiga groups used the same stylings!
(and for those not in the know, it's pronounced LEMON POINT)

SyX

Jajajaja, true, but only Melon is the original  ;D

¡¡¡Qué porno lo del lemón point!!! xDDDD

Gryzor

@Bryce: a MOII screen would be nice indeed, if properly logo-fied. Or some piece of CPC-specific code over a nice background...
@Robcfg: oooh man this looks cool! :) :) :)

robcfg

I'm glad you like it! As I told, it was a sudden surge of inspiration...  ;D

Here you have a slight variation of the logo, which I find is more readable...

Gryzor

I smell a t-shirt coming on... seriously.

Do not hit me, but I have adjusted some drop shadow, lightning and pixels ratio on your logo.

Will have to see how it upsizes, though it shouldn't be much of a problem... any ideas about a background? Maybe a starfield?

robcfg

@TotO: Thanks for the adjustments! I was just thinking to fix them, but it's complicated at work...  ;D

@Gryzor: My ideas is to use integral scaling so that we always have the nice pixels. Should you like some more stylish, it could be converted into vectors, but I still like the blocky feeling, hehe.

If you can smell a T-shirt, I'd recommend you change clothes and put it in the wash :D That's what I do :)

No no...  ;D

Apologies to everyone, but here's my contribution! It needs a lot of work, especially on the 'k', but it's kinda nostalgic!
(it works better with a black background!)

Bryce

Ok, if you can ignore the fact that I can neither draw nor use an art package, then here's my "Serious Software" Logo. The only impressive bit (The 464) is from DevilMarkus, who obviously can use an art package a lot better than I can :D

@tastefulmrship: oooh going (Am)soft.... :) Yes, I can see a pattern there, a rotating logo is more and more possible!
@Bryce: stick with the soldering iron :p Just kidding, this is nice, I only think it'd be better if the 'serious software' was more prominent in it - that's the idea after all, innit?
@Robcfg: exactly, if you don't use any smoothing method to resize them they look very nice indeed...

Bryce

Now you know why I only do hardware :D

Maybe we could do a little contest?
If this does become a contest, can I ask that we are able to vote for more than one logo? I think it's unfair to ask a guy to choose between HEADS and HEELS. It's like asking which is your favourite child! Just not possible!

Grim

That Amsoft like logo from tastefulmrship made me do this! (maybe a bit too tall but it can be cropped if necessary).

Bryce

I hope the "Write-tag" is in the correct position, otherwise the Wiki will be read-only  :o
