No the spelling checker is not there...

How it worked!!? There was a button ... I pressed it, and the text was being checked for errors in spelling

Hmmmmmm interesting. Did you notice when it disappeared? Since I use a user script (js) with Opera to spell check things, I never used it... so maybe it was a plugin that got lost or something in the skin... will check it out either way.
