Pretty interesting. I may report it as an issue with the software, but I don't think I'll tinker with it... Got to check the logs to see how many users use Gecko browsers.

Chrome on MacOS shows no gradients, while Safari on MacOS and iOS shows them.

Tried on Monterey, Catalina and iOS 15.

No gradients here on Arch Linux, in either Firefox 97.0.1 or Chrome 99.0.4844.51

Since the Safari last update, there is no more gradients on the forum display.

A much better user experenience since the upgrade - what about at your end as sysop?

Not a huge difference - of course the new interface makes things like moderating etc easier on the phone, but functionality-wise it's about the same.
