Not quite, but getting there. Still researching this bug...

AMSDOS

I'm wondering if the dates and bearings of the posts have anything to do with it? He's how they show in my time zone for example:

15 September 2010, 08:09:41
04 September 2010, 08:02:04
21 August 2010, 08:01:16
16 August 2010, 08:03:04

The top one is obviously today at 8 in the morning my time, (currently it's almost 6pm), though they are simular in a way, appearing around simular times.
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

My guess is, it's some subsystem somehow hitting the Post button or something. And similar times would point towards it - some routine procedure or something. But going into huge logs would be very time consuming... so I'm still discussing it in the SMF fora..

MacDeath

I love how such a blank post actually starts a topic. ;D

Gryzor

Heheh, see? Creatio ex nihilo! Let's see how it evolves!

Does that mean someone is working on another Spectrum port?  ???

YES!!! They want to do spectrum ports of every possible game, so the CPC will never be able to use it's full potential! Must must do something against it!

What's about a Spectrum burning day?  ;)   (After we've burnt all c64 *hehehe*)

ooopsss  :-[ i am absolutely sorry
But if you consider doing the clipping during the routine it can be faster than doing it before , especially if you are working with character units.

... the neighbours become disapponted! The air was filled with 3 channel AY sounds, amplified heavily. And the already knew if they complain, these guys will play thundercats in the early morning - continuing till sunset! And then 18 hours Trantor, still using that huge amplifying system. And at the neighbours house the bricks were jumping out of the wall - and by accident have been fallen on people which prefer sid sounds.... Those were the 80ies, they never come back...

@fano, TMF: are these posts actually for this thread? Or is there something weird going on?

fano

TMF told me that Fano is right... further he told me that Fano was a big inspiration for his last post... But I don't know it exactly...
