As said before, backing up is done on a daily basis thanks to Nurgle's efforts. This time it just took a little longer due to other issues.

Btw, the downtime was caused by (yet another) hardware failure on the host's side.

By the way, we lost one day's worth of posts and changes, since the backup is taken every night. No biggie, but if you go through the threads you'll see that your last posts may be missing...

Also, no need to worry, when something happens I try to keep people updated, so you can find what's going on either from the front page, other blogs (thanks, Octoate!) or Twitter.

@Bryce: it was on my to-read list, but unfortunately I can't take all the Internet to bed, where I do most of my reading. Sucks.

Well, I've reuploaded the stuff that were lost from my last update to the System Disk page.


On the funny side, that page told that there were no German CPC 664 system disk by Amstrad (instead of Schneider), guess what? We got hold of one of these and it's nicely scanned and dumped 


[Edit] By the way, it seems that after the backup restore, I have to confirm my email address every time I want to upload something to the wiki. Could you take a look at it, please?

Hmm... stating the obvious, but have you tried another browser? I see no reason why it would ask you to... cookies probably.
