Here's something for your ears (ouch...)
[cpc=http://cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1280.0;attach=874,DISC,1]PARADOS[/cpc]
After loading 10 Minutes (and it was still loooooaaaadddiiiiiiiiinggggggggggggggg) I cancelled the WEB-CPC presentation.
Get it running with an faster OS ,-)
Really?
For me it takes about 03:30 minutes.
You should consider buying a new PC ;)
Hmmm is SymbOS faster? :-*
Here's another tune. (6khz only but longer!)
[cpcsmall=http://cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1280.0;attach=881,DISC.BAS,1]PARADOS[/cpcsmall]
The second example doesn't have an attachment?
The first one sounds brilliant, actually... is it my idea, or is it stereo? But how can it be?
My emulated digiblaster is mono.
But I use a pseudo-stereo effect ;)
No visible attachment :) I removed it but only from visible area ;)

Uuup, that's still a loooong time. SOS may be faster, give it a try. But there are still more quick solutions ;-)
However, great tune!!!

A stereo delay, I guess. It works really nice!
As for the attachment... but for me, when I run the emu, it can't find a disk...
The first demo loads pretty fast for me, though.

It's because I first posted it, copied the link to attachment to clipboard and because I made a mistake I deleted my posting.
Then I wrote a new reply and pasted the attachment link. But I forgot that in my new reply the attachment was not visible as link.
Because you are all old (me, too) and don't want to wait the long loading time and because soon it's christmas:

Now I see what you mean. I think the attachment had been in my cache.
I fixed the post.

Yes for you... (and some other people) ;)
But I prefer simple basic with RSX commands.
Actually I am working on a song which I put together of many shorter samples (Like MOD but I use song sequences)

The final song:

That is... absolutely great!
BTW: Do you use disc-format D10 ? Or what is it?
BTW2: In your previous post, the picture(link) is broken

Hi, old tread but ok.
TL;DR all.
I tested the first one.
Loading... reminds me of the old TexAvery joke.
"Long, isn't it ?"
BTW.
Is it the emulator or my PC ? the sound is far from good.
lots of laggy sounds (bumbumbum...) and also, a bit slow.
You should consider using the PLUS' DMA capabilities for this... perhaps... ::)
Is it smoother on a real CPC than on your online emulator ? possibly.
I don't have any proper RAMcard so I can't tell.
Also I don't have the Digiblaster, As I suppose it uses this..?
Also perhaps Mode1 for the logo would be great too. :)
Anyway nice musical choice.
I will try the others you posted...
"Hero"
Not as good musical choice as Metallica, but hey... the sound is smoother.
I guess you owerclocked the "CPC" into 6mhz ?
is this some kind of cheat ?
"AC/DC" I suppose this is AC/DC is it ?)
again, laggy sound with a lot of parasistic noises....
:'(
Why do only shitty music manage well on this ??? ;D
Anyway, I tried again, with the 'toggle fullscreen option on, and ok, it works a bit better actually.
My Java plugin must be badly upgraded or whatever (I always get some bug with Java on my Firefox anyway)
So, I guess this Digiblaster eat almost the full CPU to do this.
would it be possible to mix noraml AY tune with this ?
I meant, this is then perhaps more job to get some 3 channels re-written, but the AY can actually do a good Bass part and some "percussions", while the Digiblaster mostly bring the singings and guitars then ?
Well, you must then also get some clean separated tracks of the original song... and get some time on Arkos/Starkos too...
Also, mixing with DMA channels... can the mighty humble Z80 do this ?
QuoteI speak English as a second language!
I don't speak English, yet I can understand and write it quite efficiently on the other hand... :P
(Sorry guys, i'm back from work and Have to decompress... shitty job is shitty.)

Why using 4 bit instead of 8 bit? Where is the gain to jump from 256 steps (8 bit) to only 16 (4 bit).
The digiblaster was developped to get away from 4 bit samples and to allow 8 bit samples, because in this case 8 bit (=256) is 16 times better than 4 bit (=16).
