Debut German demo from 1991

This is the first demo by 'Alien/TTC' (Jörn Grunert).
In the two other demos below you'll see the progression from this demo to a more sophisticated style of demo in "Alien 2" & "Alien 3" also released in 1991.

The first scroll text is far too long and gets the chop, the second is also too long but I let that run thru (15 mins aprox.).

Alien 3
The first scroll text is OK but I gave up on the second after the 15 minute mark and ended the video.
From CPCAI magazine (courtesy of CPCRulez):
"Shortly after the second demo of "Alien" was released, Alien can now come up with something new again. The "Alien Overscan Demo" consists of three parts and a short intro. The first part contains a grid scroll in the upper part, a color scrolling and a sprite which hovers over the color scrolling.
In the second part, 17 MODE 2 scrolls have been implemented one below the other without hardware scrolling. By the way, there is an equalizer at the bottom left and right. Of course, a suitable sound should not be missing either. The colors of the equalizers can be adjusted with the COPY button, the speed with buttons one to three.
The third and final part is less gorgeous, but still not bad. Five sprites with the letters "ALIEN" fly over the group logo TTC, which is highlighted with grids."

Not emulated - original hardware and software.
Please note that the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.

The names made me smile :) Where did you get them from? Alien's real name was Stefan (his family name currently escapes me) and Jörn Grunert actually went under the name Leather Rebel.

Thanks for the Info. I'll update my video on YT this morning.
Definitely remember watching Alien 3 - it was the sort of thing I could just about aspire to rather than the dizzy heights of The Demo.
