Not emulated - original hardware and software.
Please note that  the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor 
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.

This first try to make a Multitasking GUI for the cpc failed  :laugh: 15 years later I was more successful  :D

Speaking of which, does SymbOS ever crash? I don't remember seeing it go down...

Well, I did stress tests with SymbOS a few years ago sitting next to Prodatron. It's stable as is, given the CPC's limited resources (in comparison to later x86 systems), but you can bring it to its knees with a few open programs that are compute and resources intense. Needless to say that you have to do this intentionally.
I can't remember now if it outright crashed or just went unresponsive.

Thanks. I've used it quite a bit and have seen all the videos I think, and just yesterday I realized I have never seen it going crazy. Which in itself is crazy enough.
