UK musicdisc by Presto PD from 199? featuring excellent Atari ST transfers.
These music files might by the ST conversions done by Kevin Thacker in 1990 and simply given a makeover (new menu screen) but I'm not 100% about that.
As usual with music compilations this suffers from "looping" - each track plays endlessly, Aargh!
I understand that this is necessary in a game or a demo but on a musicdisc?
Anyway whatever the original source we'll listen to 'Demo 1'.

As far as I heard at least the last one was converted by or for Logon System. Some of these tunes should be used in "The Demo 2".
Back in 1992 I got them from a swapper contact (maybe it was K-OS or Kangaroo Musique), and he told me, that I can use them. I didn't know anything about the origin of these fantastic tunes. The only thing I knew was, that they have been converted from the Atari ST. So I used some of them in my "megademo".
A short time later Logon System seem to be very angry about this. At least this is what I heard from Kangaroo Musique, and I have to say, that I am really sorry about this, but I didn't know this before. I remember, that Logon System already used converted Atari ST tunes in "The Demo" (1), so it sounds reasonable, that these tunes have been converted by Logon as well. I still wonder what the complete story about this is. Maybe @Longshot (https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=128) can tell something about it?

I got them from Fraggle(&Duck). They used one of the Wings of death tunes in one of their demos.
I still love the Wings of death and Shaolin tunes. Two of them are on heavy rotation in my car.

So how were these tracks created on the Atari?
I'm guessing keyboard(s) and a drum machine linked via MIDI to the Atari ST.
Or am I completely wrong and these were created using the ST alone?
In the first interview he said, that he owned and used a Roland D-20 keyboard. All the Atari ST sound routines have been developed by himself.
