'Sapiens' game music by Gilles Soulet

Now this 1986 in-game music is the longest I've ran across so far - 5.40!

The standalone file is from the "Two Mag" music compilation released sometime in the nineties.

Extracts from Amstar magazine issue 2:
"AMS: But Gilles deals exclusively with the music?
Olivier Guillon: Yes, because microcomputer music is reaching such heights today that it is necessary to call in a specialist. Gilles is both a programmer and a composer, which allows him to better understand certain technical constraints.
Didier Guillon: Regarding the different versions, the programs are first written on Thomson (Thomson MO5 computer) and then transcribed on Amstrad and possibly on Commodore, as on the 5th Axis..."

"AMS: How do you create the music?
Gilles Soulet: I compose the main theme on a Casio CZ 101 synthesizer. I then transcribe it on C64 thanks to a program called KMUSE It transforms the musical notes into sequenced digital data, usable on any computer, provided you Use the appropriate interpreter of course. Enfia(?) according to the possibilities of each machine, I arrange the piece and I add the special effects available..."
