Title: "Sunny Day" at Shadow Party 2025
Post by: cpcitor on 23:51, 08 July 25
Hi guys!

Shadow Party 2025 was last week-end. A few CPC sceners were present, I wasn't. There was one CPC production, in "Oldschool demo" category, that I made.

It is a short demo, with music by Siko.

It ranked after two Amiga-based prods, but ex-aequo with a prod made for a machine that has a 33MHz processor. After seeing it you might guess why I write this.

You might like this short demo. You might even think it's good.

It's called "Sunny Day".

See details there:

::) Please don't describe the content, so as not to spoil the experience for the other viewers.

As usual, run it on your real CPC, preferably with an original CTM-644 or GT-65 monitor, for the best experience and 50-frame-per-second smoothness.

Very nice effect & music.  Congrats!
It's almost too short!

I love these demos that feature a single technology, but initially hide its full potential and only gradually reveal what's truly possible.

At first, you didn't know how thin the circular scroller was or how much of the screen could be changed at once. Then it got thicker, and then it was finally revealed that the entire thick ring updates at 50 Hz.

So nice to see the Fruity Frank characters, my cult CPC game (r.i.p. Steve Wallis)
This demo is really cool, big congratulation, and thanks for this!
